Goodbye October, Hello November

I'm sat here, thinking it should be chilly, I should be wrapped in a blanket, maybe with a hot chocolate or a warm winter meal but no, its rather warm for this time of the year, in fact it's the warmest halloween on record and we are still experiencing this Indian summer here in London. This month seems to have passed really quickly, especially this last week as I had a week off from uni. I feel like I have achieved a lot though, I've been pretty busy with university and life.

This week I went to my first dinner party which my best friend threw. It was such a lovely evening, where we enjoyed a roast dinner and her amazing brownies, and I also met her boyfriend who is lovely too. I popped to Tunbridge Wells one day with my mum, auntie and Grandma. We had a wonder around the shops and I treated myself to a few things. Also I had the sad news that my macbook needed some repairs, which would cost £600, and still may not be fully fixed, so I decided to buy a new one, which severely dented my bank balance! On Wednesday I took a trip to Brighton to meet up with a great friend of mine, Claire. We hadn't seen each other since June, but when we met up it didn't seem like a day had gone by without seeing her. We had a lovely day wondering around Brighton, the Lanes and the beach, and also a little stop for Nando's and ice cream. I've spent the rest of the week just ticking things that I've put off doing on my to do list for a while, and it feels somewhat satisfying.

For October I only set two goals. Number one was to get into a regular exercise routine, aiming to exercise four times a week and goal number two was to visit a hair salon and get my hair done. I'm going to be honest I haven't worked out four times a week, I don't know why but I'm really struggling with motivation and actually forcing myself to exercise. As for the second goal, I haven't got my hair done yet but I have booked an appointment for Wednesday, where I will be going blonder and having a hair cut to neaten my barnet. I cannot wait to get it done!

I think for November, I am going to set just one goal as it will (hopefully) make me fully focus on it and that is to...

▷ WORK OUT FOUR TIMES PER WEEK

What are you goals this month? Remember if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail, so go now and plan your month and some goals or things you want to achieve this November, go, go, go!
