Firstly, I ought to wish you all a happy new year. I hope 2014 is better for everyone who had a crappy 2013. Now it's around this time that many people make new year resolutions, and within a month they are either forgotten about or have already been broken. So instead of saying pointless things that soon won't mean anything, I thought about writing 21 goals that I want to achieve before I am 21 (January 2015). These goals are all personal to me, and also very doable as I have got just over a year to achieve as many as possible!
So here goes with what I am setting myself for what will hopefully be a good year...
- Cut back on sugary, unhealthy and processed foods and drinks
- Get a first aid qualification
- Be able to run 5k
- Be able to run 10k
- Tone muscles and maintain a good physique
- Run a colour run race
- Run a tough mudder race
- Get the moles removed from my face
- Give blood
- Accept who I am for who I am
- Work on anxiety and panic attacks
- Be a more positive and optimistic person
- Be content and happy with myself and on my own
- Get a hair cut and colour my hair
- Study harder for my degree
- Learn how to budget, spend more wisely and save more
- Find a part time job
- Spend time with all of my friends
- Pass driving theory and practical test
- Find a balance between work/uni and play/fun
