I always love the excitement that the Birchbox subscription brings, however this month I was slightly disappointed with it. I thought the box looked a bit bare as there weren't any full size products, and a couple of products were duplicated from previous month's boxes.
However, one thing that I liked was the tiny tweaks booklet all about little changes to positivity. I think it is very appropriate to this time of the year and also to me, as one of my goals this year is to be more positive.
So if you're still reading at this point I guess you're interested in what's actually in my January Birchbox... Well here you go, have a peek yourself.
∇ Benefit the Porefessional primer- I'm looking forward to trying this, I have got a couple of other primers that I find work well with my skin so it will be interesting to see how this does.
∇ Philip Kingsley Elasticizer pre-shampoo- This was one of the products that I have received before from Birchbox, which to be honest I haven't even used the first one that I've got. Now I've got two, I think I'll try one and possibly pass one on to someone else who may be interested in trying it.
∇ Delarom Acquaconfort Mask- I love trying new skin products. This claims to nourish and restore suppleness and vitality of your skin, so I'm really looking forward to see if this will live up to its claim on my skin.
∇ Rodial Glamtox Night SPF- With an RRP of £75, this must be amazing, so I guess I'll give it a go tonight and really see whether it smooths my complexion and plumps fine lines... Time will tell
∇ Premae Anatomy Nutrients Instant Renewal Body Oil- I'm not a huge fan of body oils, there is only one that I love to use. I find that many of them don't work well with my skin, so I look forward to seeing how this one reacts and whether it will detoxify, moisturise and tone my skin.
∇ Birchbox Eye Mask- Again, this is another repeated product that I received a few months back in a previous Birchbox. I guess you can never have too many eye masks can you?
So that is a roundup of what is in my Birchbox for January. What did you get in yours, anything different? If you're interested in subscribing to Birchbox, head over to their website www.birchbox.co.uk and for £10.00 & £2.95pp you could receive one of these little boxes every month.
