Les Deux Alpes, 2014

Bonjour! Ça va?

View of Les Deux Alpes from the town
I have just returned from an incredible week, skiing it up in the French Alps on a uni trip. Now when I say incredible, I mean incredible in many different ways. Incredible skiing, incredible people, incredible drinking, incredible atmosphere, incredible everything.

This trip was a pretty spontaneous idea. A housemate and I decided to go a few weeks before, not knowing anyone else, only each other. This ended up being the best decision I've made all year!

Seeing as it was a university trip, I should not have expected anything less than lots of alcohol, late nights and skiing whilst hungover the next morning. This trip sure did live up to this, basically being a constant week long drinking session, with different themes for each night.
Pano Bar- 3pm drinking everyday
I was very fortunate to make some great friends on this trip, those I skied with everyday, my room mates and the girls on the coach near me, plus a few others from the uni ski group. I cannot forget Dan, my housemate from uni, he was a great person to choose to go away with and I think it's made our friendship stronger.

I could go on for ever about so much of this holiday, but I won't as we'll be here for days. In all honesty it was a great week, I am so glad I made myself go on the trip, as it has helped me develop into a better person, and I guess it's another little life lesson showing that I am capable of going away on my own.

UBSSC, thanks for a great week
